New strange noise from transmission (?)

2016 LR4, 52k miles.
Last night at about 30-40 mph I thought I heard a motorbike next to me. At 50 mph it became a dull roar.
Three passengers identified source as under the back of the console. Pulled out the rear cup holder and they could feel vibration on the floor.
Accelerates and shifts normally, just the noise.

I just had cooling system work done at Indie, never had the noise before. Car is in Indie’s lot now waiting for Monday.
Anybody have suggestions?

Since it is already at the mechanics I would suggest pouring a couple ounces of a nice single malt and try to put it out of your mind until they call you. No sense ruining your weekend and welcome to Land Rover life. Is this a toy or a daily?

Good advice!
It’s sort of a “daily” but since I’m in now my mid 80s daily has become intermittent. Until a few months ago I lived in Vermont and used it mainly to go hunting and shooting.

Brake cable faster had broken and cable was flapping around, rubbing against the driveshaft.
