My eye caught me with the $500.00 price (CL) on 2004 Freelander HSE (interior and exterior are good conditions) with 65,000 mileage but there no reverse and forward gears good. I did some research and the tranny is JATCO (JF506E), I hope this is correct. I am wondering if these are same issues of other car such as BMW, etc. with reverse and their problems are reverse drum or solenoids failed. I can replace the solenoid but the reverse drum is too complicated for me. Does anyone have this no reverse issue. I do appreciate for all the input. Thank you.
