Off-road front facing camera

Hi all,

Has anyone tried mounting a camera as this guy has done in his Jeep?

I was considering something similar, but wireless and just stream to my phone. Is there any convenient 12v take-off under the hood that powers on/off with the ignition?

I have the surround camera system. It's honestly not worth it while off roading from what I've encountered.

I've found the cameras in the mirror housings to be much more helpful, although I rarely use them off roading.

agreed, I've got the surround cameras and think ive only used the right camera under the mirror maybe 3 times( making sure I was clear of a rock) and the front facing camera once(pulling all the way up against the car in front of me in my driveway)
