Hey all

I have a 2009 LR2 which showed a flashing check engine light a couple months ago and had sputtering acceleration. I checked the engine code and got a P0305 Diagnostic Trouble Code, saying “Pressure line solenoid 5 fault: Short circuit to ground” which recommended replacing the spark plug and ignition coil. There were additional DTCs of multiple cylinder misfires so I replaced all the plugs and coils. It seemed to fix the issue for a couple months but the flashing yellow check engine light came back on along with a sputtering start a couple days ago. The flashing went away after a few seconds but the light started on. I ran another scan and got “P0305 Stored Misfire detected - cylinder B1 (5), DTC Severity 2 of 3.” The auto parts guy suggested that they probably sold me a faulty ignition coil and replaced it on warranty which I installed. I haven’t experienced the sputtering or flashing check engine light but the light is still on. How can I ensure this problem is fixed? Should I be looking at something else as the issue? Thanks for the help.

Those are not complete LR DTC codes. If you had the complete code (followed by a -XX) we might be closer to the issue. We really need to see ALL the codes.
