Team,

So, after 121k miles, I've finally got a CEL. Bank 1 knock sensor high input. This one is turning out to be a mystery as the standard fixes aren't working:

1. I've replaced both sensors
2. The wiring looked OK when I was in there.
3. Light went out for a week, and came back.

Some notes on this:

1. I've reset the codes multiple times, it keeps coming back
2. Many tanks of good, high octane fuel (93), from multiple places
3. Motor mounts seem good, I've loaded the drivetrain with my foot on the brake and the engine barely moves
4. I can drive on the highway for hours and the light won't come on. Including 5k+RPM revs pulling a trailer up hills, so the engine is getting pushed/cycled.
5. It only happens in town.
6. Performance is affected, but not much..
7. 5.0 V8, 2012

Any thoughts on this? I've checked out the Jag forums, and am not finding a ton of useful information..

Thanks for the help,

Mike

Get a data logger and record the KR PID. That will show when its getting knock vs watching for the CEL. See if you can narrow it down.

P0328-00 is a circuit DTC.
The knock sensor circuit needs to be checked for high resistance.

Good feedback, thanks guys.. I'll start checking that circuit, pretty sure my OBD reader can check that real time. I'll let you know what I find..
