Hey guys,

I am new to this thread. I purchased a 2003 Range Rover HSE about 6 months ago. The shop looked over the entire vehicle and found nothing wrong with the radiator or water pump. I just had the coolant reservoir replaced along with the expansion tank hose. Monday October 4th 2021. Today I drove the car 10 miles and my service engine light soon came on and drove home immediately. I parked in the driveway turned the car off and all the coolant dumped onto my drive way(like Niagara falls. I can’t seem to find where the leak is coming from. My reservoir is completely dry now and will have it towed to the indie mechanic that only works on land rovers for the last 20 years. My thought is it’s just a hose or clamp that came off. Can anyone help with this??

If all the fluid came out that fast a hose is likely the issue.

I don't know if you found a solution.
The coolant dump was likely due to your engine and coolant being too hot and when hot it expands in the tank which did not have enough room to hold it so it leaked out. I have been having problems with the fans not cooling my engine enough. Had a garage replace the fan on my 2007 range rover supercharged. They said it was a variable speed fan and was not kicking into high speed for the excess heat produced in stop and go traffic and/or hot days. The repair lasted about 7 months and now it is at it again. While in stop and go traffic, engine light came on, cabin over heating 8 degrees celcius outside.
I would check the variable speed of your fan, connections of the same make sure the fuses are working for this fan part.
I have to re examine why the new fan has failed.
