Hello all. I could use some help. Noticed a big pool of coolant under my 2007 LR3 4.4 today. I recently re-routed the rear coolant lines in the rear passenger wheel well to accomodate larger tires. I thought I sufficiently bled the air out of the system before closing it up, but I suspect this new found leak must be related to that modification. If I left too much air in the system, could it have damaged/popped a seal or a hose or something? Water pump failure? Any input would be greatly appreciated! I'm a newbie. Thanks. (seems to be dripping really good from the bottom of the part circled in the pic below but hard to find the source since there is fluid everywhere!)

I see coolant dripping onto the TOP of the water pump. I think it is safe to safe it is the plastic thermostat housing that has failed right? I don't see any other hoses or fittings that seem to be the culprit.

Just making sure you checked the problematic bleeder T valve (under top engine cover)?
They break quite often when old. I swapped mine to brass after it broke.

Yes, thank you. I actually already had that adventure and I'm running brass. In the process now of removing the thermostat manifold now. Quite a process! Seems more difficult than the water pump

Replaced the thermostat manifold and water pump. No more leaks! That I can tell. That's a win for me. Now however, the dash is FULL of faults... Transmission, HDC, Parking brake, low coolant. I tried to clear any error through my cheap OBDII scan tool and disconnected the negative battery terminal for a couple minutes but the faults remain. I have good volts at the battery. Any other suggestions?

Update! I thought I pulled the fuse for the parking sensors but I pulled the one right above it. The numbering on the fuse panel threw me off. Putting that fuse back, I am error FREE and leak FREE. Good times.
