I have a 2008 LR2, I had some exhaust work done on it and the mechanic said there was a noise coming from the rear but it may just be the tires. II has made this noise since I bought it so I figured it was the tires as well. But a couple days later I was reversing into my driveway and there was a kind of thump then the HDC fault, special programs not available info popped up. The same thing happen again the next day but only when I was in reverse. Can anyone give me any advice on this? Thank you in advance

Quick check would be Brakes as the HDC is brakes, but have a mechanic check the rear diff as well.

Okay, with a transmission fault as well, it could be low voltage on the battery, have the battery tested.
