Hi Guy's

I want to thank you for having this out here for us new bees lol.

I have a 2001 Range Rover HSE and the self diagnostics on the air conditioning is on,

when I have the heat on Hot the driver side works fine but the passenger side blow cold the fan on booth side blow just the same just the passenger side is cold?

I have tried to read the code but I am having some trouble with these instructions I don't know what the (AIR DIST) is? Could you help me out with this? After I read the code I should me able to fix the problem. I would very much appreciate it your help.

Also my heated seat lights come on for booth front seats but they do not get hot? I am thinking it has something to do with the Self Diagnostic fault.

These instructions are very nice I can’t wait to figure it out and fix my problem.

Here is how you check for faults:
1 - Turn ignition off
2 - press and hold AUTO and AIR DIST
3 - while holding those buttons down switch ign ON
4 - fault code is shown in the left window, result in the right.

00 means no faults
11 in car temp sensor fault
12 ambient sensor fault
13 thermistor fault
14 heater coolant sensor fault
21 sunsensor fault
22 sun sensor fault
31 left servo motor
32 right servo motor
33 distribution servo motor

Thank again,

Larry

Joey,

Again thank you,

The picture really helps but I still don't know wich one of the buttons to push with the AUTO button (AIR DIST)

Are you saying that I can push AUTO and use any of the buttons that are on the air distribution pannel?

To get it to show me the codes or Falts?

Thanks,

Larry

If I were to take a wild guess I would say yes... I haven't had to deal with this before, I also do not recall having been asked this question ( I normally remember most posts)

Joey,

How are you doing?

I could never figure out how to get it to show me the code.

Do you know of a good person to look at it that wont cost me a arm and a leg?

I live in Yuba City ca.

Dang, I have a few friends that live in Yuba City, but I am not aware of any Rover shops out there that I have ever delt with or talked to... let me make a phone call and see what I can find.
