Hello all,
I just imported my '98 Defender 110 to the US. I've owned it for five years in the UK and it ran great, but when I shipped it, the exporter had to train the fuel tank. I put five gallons of diesel in it when I picked it up at the port, but I couldn't get the TD5 engine to start. It will kick over but just won't start. I have the Haynes manual, and it describes a process of turning the ignition switch through six cycles over about 20 minutes, but it didn't work.
Does anyone know how to bleed the air out of the fuel lines of TD5 engine?
Thank you,
Mark
