touch screen whiteout

i had about a half hour of white touch screen today, although the sat radio and the other radios still worked, but i couldn't see if the nav system was up, or the phone. has anyone else experienced this? it dissapeared as mysteriously as it started.

I have that issue on hot days. I usually restart the car it goes away.

I live in the middle east where it routinely hits 120F+ and never seen this issue.

I was up north skiing this past weekend and had the white screen happen as stated above (in my 2013 LR4), only it wasn't hot, it was about 5 degrees f. Same thing - everything worked, but the screen was white. Drove for about two hours. Stopped for gas, restarted and it was back to normal.

This has happened to me twice within my ownership (40-88k miles so far)

Doesn't seem to be a real problem. I have also had the reverse camera throw rainbow colors onto the screen for a split second...
