Just picked up the new TOYO Open Country AT3 for our 2013 LR4 with the challenging 19 rims. I was close to pulling the trigger on the Conti Terrain Contact A/T when I saw the new AT3 was being offered in 255/55/19.

I think they look great and so far they have been great on the road. No adventures yet! Some beach cruising scheduled later in the month, for now we’ll be pounding some pavement.

No noticeable road noise.

They are offering 500 mile returns for these new tires. I’m 200 miles in and can’t find a reason to return them yet!

Here’s some pics.

They look great!! When I bought the truck, it had Toyos on it and they were great tires. These look even better.

Those are great looking tires in our size. I am enjoying the Contis that you took a pass on, but I will probably give these a try for the next set I need.

PS: Sending you a PM...

Sweet Rig! How much were those? I have 19" as well. Got a 4th of July deal last year at Walmart that will never happen again. $110 a piece for Cooper LTZ.

I 've had Toyo Open Road's before, but they were not off road. I wasnt even aware. Good to know there is hope yet.

The next size up (255/60R19) may be an even better choice for the LR4, if you'll take it off-road regularly. A bit of extra sidewall never hurts.

This is an exciting time for 19" wheels! haha. Pretty cool to see larger sizes popping up. 255/60/r19 should fit nicely. Still waiting to hear back in the other thread if the new Duratracs in 255/65/r19 have any rubbing.
