WANTED: Land Rover LR4 HSE Lux — V8 or well-optioned V6, HD Package
Looking for a well-documented LR4 to add to my fleet — currently run a 2012 5.0L V8 with 210,000 miles, so I know this platform well and I’m not afraid of one with history, as long as it’s documented history.

FIRST CHOICE — 2012–2013, HSE Lux, V8:
• 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 (2013 strongly preferred — updated timing chain guides)
• HSE Lux trim specifically — Cold Climate Package (heated seats/wheel/windshield), extended leather, ambient lighting included standard on this trim
• HD Package — confirmed locking rear differential + full-size spare
• Will consider non-Lux HSE or Silver Edition only if Cold Climate Package is separately confirmed present

SECOND CHOICE — 2014–2016, HSE Lux (Landmark Edition a plus), V6, only if it nails the sweet spot:
• 3.0L supercharged V6, stock/unmodified only
• HSE Lux trim specifically — Landmark Edition (HSE Lux + Landmark badge/extras) especially welcome
• HD Package required, same as above
• Genuinely low mileage and impeccable documentation matter more here — this tier only makes sense if the truck is exceptional
Applies to both:
• Two-speed transfer case (please confirm — not all trims had it)
Under 100,000 miles (sweet spot is under 80K)
• 1–2 owners, service records/receipts available
• Private party over dealer preferred
• No tunes, supercharger work, or performance mods — stock only

Budget: Low to high teens, flexible for the right truck with the right history.

To confirm locking diff/2-speed transfer case: please include a photo of the “4x4 Info” screen (vehicle on, in Park) from the infotainment system.

I’m happy to travel or arrange shipping for the right vehicle — VIN and photos of maintenance records appreciated up front.

Thanks for reading — long-time LR4 owner looking to keep the tradition going.

Well since no one is replying I'll just say that have had multiple LR's over the years and never having had an LR4, I thought the LR3 was a brilliant vehicle until I got a Defender. It really is everything you could imagine and I know it's not as solid maybe as a 4 in terms of build etc. it really checks the boxes for a modern competitor to the Land Cruiser/GX/Bronco/Jeep options. I sort of omitted the Grenadier on purpose because it's in it's own world so to speak. Just my opinion if you haven't driven a Defender, it's really the proper upgrade to the LR4 vs the Disco 5.
