If you guys are replacing front lower LCAs that often, I'd highly recommend getting them from FCP Euro.

I replaced mine with Lucky8 polys 2 years ago and they're ok. Squeaks a bit here and there, but not too bad. I'm thinking I just need to poly grease lube them again to prevent squeaking and breaking.

Mine were replaced 6 months ago at Land Rover with oem parts. I’m getting a odd squeak and noticed the front lower arm bushings have lots of play. It it normal for the bigger bushing to move that much. I took a video and was using a pry bar to move the arm.

I don't think it's supposed to move that much or much at all.

Yeah I don’t think so either. I’ll probably take it back in to Land Rover and see if it’s covered under warranty. If not I’ll have to replace them. Literally 6 months old and already worn. If it’s not normal.

Most parts should have at least a 1 year warranty. Was it greasy at all? Looks like the hydro bushing let go.

No it’s dry. I’m going to bring it in this week to see what they say. I do all my own work anyway as I’m journeyman mechanic. My first LR4 and I bought this 6 months ago. The dealer I bought it from did the lower arms, brakes and coolant crossover pipes before I picked it up. Drove it for a few days and noticed a clunking when stepping on the gas.

Put it up on my hoist and found that rear bushing eccentric bolt flopping around. 24mm nut was hand tight. Everything has been great for the last 6 months. Just a squeak in that corner I’m trying to track down.

I know they have their share of detractors, but I have had the orange poly bushings in the factory control arms (front and rear) for roughly 3 years now, and I have absolutely zero complaints, and they exhibit zero signs of me needing to deal with them anytime in the future.
