Both the truck enthusiast and the Land Rover enthusiast in me find it offensive when someone refers to a Land Rover as a truck. If you own a Land Rover and you think this makes you a truck guy, you're mistaken. According to Merriam-Webster, a truck is a "motor vehicle designed to carry freight or heavy articles." While a Land Rover is capable of carrying freight or heavy articles, it is not purpose built to do so. It is designed to carry passengers and their gear, especially off road. It does this better than almost any truck. So, what do you think?
