Looking for thoughts on leak under engine block

The source could be many areas but some possibilities would be a brake vacuum pump or a power steering leak. But that looks like engine oil so that would lean more towards the brake vacuum pump. The steering rack is near that area too. I wouldn't let it go unless you don't have the cash and need to get to work.

Pull off the skid plate and get a closer look. You'll probably need a lot of rags to clean under the skid plate once its down. I take my plate off while on my back and use my feet to hold up one side while putting in the bolts to put the plate back on.

Updating here for future readers: mechanic could not find obvious leaks, so cleaned the stain off the engine (it was stained at various places). Asked us to drive a 100 miles and bring it back. In the short drives he made after cleaning the stains he could not find any obvious places. But there is a leak, albiet a minor one. But like taxes, sources of leaks never go down, only get worse
