Snow chains recommendations

Old Defender or keep upgrading LR4
If it’s also a daily driver then cruise control, heated seats, power mirrors, and modern antilock brakes with traction control are all nice. If it’s an off-road toy then I suppose you’ll need something to pull the trailer and the LR4 would be a good fit! Buy ‘em both. Sent from my iPhone... -

You can DIY with a programming tool (gap iid or similar) - it’s pretty straightforward as long as you have at least 1 key. The dealer can do it for $500 + $250 for the key if you prefer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I think the passenger side versions give you one extra step. On the front runner the step to the bumper and the step onto that first rung are both pretty long. The ProSpeed ladder adds a little side step to get you going. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Thinking about buying an LR4 for Offroading/Overlanding
I've slept in the cab on my LR4 and I agree with entry/exit through the second row doors. With the seats down the door still acts as a little mud room and you can slide your shoes into the gap that remains behind the front seats.
