rod bearings
Joey, pulled caps.all bearings had minimal wear. went by Cannibal and spoke with a tech. lifter collapsed was his answer. Sooooooo, just put caps back on @ 15 lbs torque..... ah, finger tight....hahaha. will put pan back on tomorrow and fire up THEN go up top. crap..... i'm learning... -

rod bearings
just got Grover running good when engine started tapping, then knocking. i'm checking (and changing) rod bearings first. just pulled # 1 out the bottom. bearing says ERR 17 73 on one side, and on the other side an imprint which looks like a teacup in a circle with MZ 7298. are these standards... -

fuel issue
Hey, got the Pressure reg installed. ran great until i killed it. now no power to the pump. checked the fuse and it's ok. is there a relay (or something else) i can check. thanks, guys! -

Hey! just joined. 97 Disco SD7 i rescued from a neighbors driveway. Had a lot of fuel probs due to sitting for 5+ years. today, headed out and it "ran out" of gas. left key on and finally got it started. pump seems fine but did pressure check at fuel rail. 85psi..... i'm thing the reg is stuck...
