Hi Lawrance: It really isn't that big of a job if you take it one step at a time. I worked on it a little each evening over a period of three or four weeks. I've seen a few write-ups on the process so I won't do that again. I posted some pictures of the process on my website here...- cookwithgas

I'm right in the middle of an intake manifold "valley" gasket change. I got the old gasket off tonight and it is a mess. I could actually see coolant dripping from the back of the engine. Nevermind! I found it. There are two additional bolts that seem to be accessible from the drawing on the FREE RAVE cd I just downloaded - NICE. An 85-cent fix would be a good thing. When you say "Intake gasket" is that the top one or the two at the bottom (or both)? I have a new to me 2000 Disco II and it is leaking coolant near the back between the transmission and the engine.
