Shift Boot
My leather shift boot is peeling and I want to change it. Has anyone changed theirs before? If so how did you separate the shift knob from the shift boot... Thanks- LROVER

Brake Lights won't turn off!
All of the brake lights on my 2003 SE Freelander won't turn off, as soon as I turn on the car they stay on permanently. I checked the fuses and they all seem fine, I have also tried taking off the car's battery to reset but still nothing, and there seems to not have been a short circuit. Weird...- LROVER

Changing a 2003 Freelander Badge
I am going to change the Freelander badge (the gold and green one on the lower left hand side of the door) located on the back door of my 2003. I was just wondering if anyone had changed this before. Air filter
I was able to change the cabin air filter already. Really simple after I got down in the footwell and looked at what I'd need to take off the four screws. An awkward place to get to though.- LROVER

Air filter
The cabin air filter (also called pollen air filter) is different from the air filter you are talking about. I have changed the air filter (under the hood) and yeah it is more time consuming than most cars. lol Luckily, It didn't take me an hour because i had already looked in the owner's manual...- LROVER

Thanks for the quick response. If it is more likely to cause me problems then I'm going to forget about it. And if it doesn't help increase fuel economy or HP then it is a good thing I didn't waste my $ on it the first time! I guess I had previously been misled into thinking buying K&N would...- LROVER

Do you still recommend the EBC ceramic brake pads? Which ones did you get, Greenstuff series? How much did you buy them for; the prices I've seen online are about $100.
