Been having intermittent P0915 and P0850 codes on 2011 LR4. both have to do with park neutral circuit and gear selection circuit. Tranny has a melt down when the codes pop up and tranny fault hits dash. Car rests overnight and problems go away. Before I pull the electronic potion off the valve... -

205,000 miles and about to service transmission question.
Did this happen to you? I've read some stories about this and saw a few videos that claim it will happen. Should I just start with taking about 4 quarts out and replacing 4 new quarts back in? -

I actually have two LR4's. One with a new engine with 175,000 on the tranny and the other with 205,000. Neither transmission have been service and still have original fluids. -

First time front hub replacement and pic of damaged threads with advice needed.
I took out the indent. The damage is further in. Almost as if the nut wasn't tightened down enough and the slop wore the thread off. But I did see metal shavings dropping as I was back the nut off. -

I had noise coming from the front passanger wheel area and it sounded typical of a wheel bearing got out. Not too bad when driving straight but louder on left or right turns. Thank you all for the input. Found a shop that could do a proper compression test to determine if its the valves or rings. Still was quoted about $3500 for redoing a single head and about 4k for both heads. They quoted from the book that its 20 hours to pull a head. I dont like "the book" ... -

Tried Restore product for the rings, Seafoam in the tank, and Seafoam in the induction. If clear the CEL light it will stay off for about 30 minutes then come back on. No evidence of a head gasket failure since only one cylinder is misfiring and has low compression. At RMPs above 800 its very... -
