considering buying '99 Disco...few questions
Well I decided against even going to look at the '99 disco I. I figure there's probably something more to it than just a bad head gasket and I wouldn't know until after I bought it. More importantly it really wasn't what I want. I'm planning on going to check out a '04 disco w/ 123k on it...- mhayes2344

Thanks for the heads up....these motors are a bit different than what I'm used to working on; SBC LT1 specifically and SBF's. I've read so much in the last several months and I feel like I still know nothing about them.- mhayes2344

They are asking $1000 for it. The most I will pay is $800. I plan on going to look at it this evening. Obviously I will check the oil and coolant and see how they look.
