I think mold got on my seats
Spray with LYSOL and wipe the seats off. Change the cabin filter too. While the filter is out, turn the AC blower on high and spray LYSOL into the blower motor. That will **** the mold in the AC ducts. The heat from the invertor kept the moisture at bay.- Rover Range

Tech inspection failed
The retaining ring probably got dislodged during shipping. When the boot dropped down, it got caught against the ball joint. Tearing it. Should be a parts warranty repair.- Rover Range

Greasy transmission, should I be worried?
I've only seen two rear main seals that were bad. Both vehicles had this weird groaning noise. There was actually a vacuum leak through the rear main seal into the torque convertor cavity. I could feel engine vacuum at the transmission bell housing weep hole.- Rover Range

Greasy transmission, should I be worried?
It pays 10 hrs to R+R the transmission. So, quote is about right. Also, you have to factor in things that can go wrong. Like broken cat convertor bolts.- Rover Range

Usually, the sensors become brittle from all the heat etc. It's best to go ahead and change the sensor.- Rover Range

With the engine running, pour water on the belt. See if noise goes away. If it does, belt issues.- Rover Range

Sounds like the engine cooling fan. There is a software update to correct this issue.- Rover Range

The brake pad sensor was not replaced. The sensor has an internal wire that wears through, indicating the pads are worn.- Rover Range

Oil filter cap
The bypass valve can be snapped back into place. Align the tabs properly. Then use a socket and an extension to push back in place.- Rover Range

Engine goes into reduced power mode
Those are the cam profile solenoids. The "tube " is the retaining bolt. Shop manual description: The CPS solenoids control the supply of engine oil pressure to the locking pins in the switchable tappets, to switch the tappets between the two cam profiles.
