Get rid of it asap. The rust is just the beginning. You will have dozens of electrical issues and what is that liquid running down from the wheel hub? Pretty soon a new timing belt and the list goes on. For what you might pay, but a Toyota -

Get the GAP tool. It is by far the best a light years ahead of the one LR uses and the guys are really competent, unlike the average LR garage -

I assume your wheels are balanced? If not, do so and make sure you haven't lost any balancing weights. Otherwise it is warped rotors due to over heating. Change them. There is no way it can be the LCAs and it is easily checked anyway - jack it up and take a crowbar to them -

Lost communication with parking brake
D4 2011 TDV6. The parking brake engages and disengages perfectly and works perfectly but I seem to get the general U0128 comms error referring to the brake regularly . Any ideas why? The circuitry is very simple and the brake works so why the error? thanks for any hints! -

According to this document https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2014/SB-10101194-9340.pdf It could be this harness fuse which is blown. So, I looked for the part in question LR030454 and find that the price is 1500 pounds!!!! Surely they are not serious?? -

Yes you should. If you buy anything else you will lose a lot of money immediately and you should get et least 350k miles out of your current car and, no, you will not find anything as capable. Keep it. Change the oil and filter regularly (every 6k) and as long as the dreaded LR corrosion doesn't...- sceh

Dear, dear - which genius decided that the fuse positions under the bonnet didn't need numbering for when the paper guide drops off? Or that you had to remove the headlight unit and grill to change a bulb? The same person I suppose who decided that the fuel filter should be hidden under a cross... -

This seems to be an idiotic question but.. I have a 2011 LR4 and after plugging in a cool box into the rear cigar lighter, the headlights don't work so a fuse needs changing I guess. The workshop and user manuals make NO MENTION of which fuse is for the headlights! I am guessing it is in the... -

Frankly I doubt there is anything you can do that the standard vehicle and wheels can't. Save your money and take the wife out to dinner instead
