Just a lowly diesel, EGR valves are part of the emision system there are two of them in fitted inline in both exhaust systems, I think they were £160 each so not a cheap fix when the labour charge was added, but all fixed and been running fine for the laso 4 months!:biggrin: -

Transmission fault, HDC, lowered suspension height -- resolved
Ours turned out to be the EGR valves causing the problem, as ours is a 2008 we had to replace the valves with new ones. Apparently older L3's can blank the EGR valves off, so typically ours was the expensive repair! All good now though!
