water in gas
it was a auto zone pump.i have looked online ,and there are 2 pumps. 1 is evaporative loss and the other is not. when i took my gas lid off before it would hiss as it let off pressure, now it just opens. my old pump only had the gas lines and power on top, the new one adds a tube which has a 90... -

hi again i just changed out my fuel pump and filter. 96 d 1 4.0 ,the pump i was able to get was different from the one in it . it had a tube coming out of the top , which i put a cap on. when i unscrew the gas cap there is no pressure in the tank now.will i have to find the right pump to fix... -

have u tried a different door. mine wont unlock the drivers door, but will the passenger door. -
fuel pump
joey the pump has smooth tubes on top otherwise it is the same. the oem has 9/16 in. standard fuel line fittings. i suppose i could cut my fuel lines and clanp them with line clamps. i was told in 96 they changed the pump mid year or so. this is the only one advance stocks. my truck has been... -
no start
i have been having troubles with my rover, 96 d1 139000 mi.i started with plugs, that kept it running for 2 weeks.it would run just like always, but i would stop and turn it off and it would act like it had no fuel. waited a day and it started right up.drove another 4 days and it wouldn't... -
interior lights
my interior lights are not working correctly.they flash off and on. what controls them. they will still come on if you turn them on.all fuses are good.1996 d1 4.0 se7. -
ignition switch
i have a 96 d1 with ignition switch trouble. the key will turn all the way back till the radio is off but wont go on back to get the key out. i bought a new switch, but still have problem. was looking for a way or a wire to cut that will disable the park switch. if i could disable it or make it... -
key won't come out
the key will turn till the radio shuts off but it won't go all the way back to the rear wher u pull the key out. i thought it was the ignition so i got a used one that was still tight. didn't fix the problem completely but it did help, only does it every other time. it is a96 sr7 d1 -

hello again my key will start and turn off but it won't remove all the way. i have put in a new switch but the problem still persists,although not all the time. ithink it is the park switch.is there a way to disable this feature on the ignition switch. -
arb bull bar
i was wondering if an arb for a disco 1 will fit a disco 2. i have been thinking about upgrading to a 01 or a 02 model. mine is a 96 with air bags. -
service engine light
where is this red box. and how do you reset it.my d-1 turned 130xxx miles and all the lights came on . srs service engine, check engine, and abs.the abs is always on as i took out the fuse.what can i reset without the dealer as i live 100 miles from one. -
unimog axles
has any one ever put unimog axles under a disco 1. will the drive shafts line up ect. i thought i could get a pair and run 38's and have the correct gearing plus they have air lockers already.
