Hello eveyone, I have a 06 lr3 v6 and I Replaced my transmission oil pan since it was leaking, followed the atlantic brit, tutorial but now I have a fault, P0929 for Gear Shift Lock Solenoid Circuit Range/Performance. Car won't shift out of park, this goes away when car is warmed up and trans oil is hot and car lets me shift out of park. Anyone have any suggestions?

were you refilled the transmission correctly, top it off with the engine running? 2nd, wondering if your shift cable is out of alignment by 1 mm or so...

It's not only if the engine is running if he replaced the oil pan with a metal one. Their are specific transmission temperatures that you must use when filling the transmission. I did the Metal pan conversion 4 years ago with out a problem thus far.
