Uneven ride height
Gents, I have the same problem with my 05 LR3 HSE and mentioned it to my Dealer. The variance was actually closer to 2" lower on the passenger side. JJVD21 Mine is a "whine" type noise. It is especially evident when I first accelerate and when coming to a stop, almost like a "winding down" airplane kinda sound.- Bremerbuttjer

Replacing the rear differential??
Just having mine replaced as well. 2005 LR3 HSE close to 30k. Dealer told me that LR is aware of the problem and it apparently sources from the inside coating used at the factory being disolved causing the fluid to be saturated with particles which then causes the noise and eventually failure.- Bremerbuttjer

Front Differential Failure-51,000 Miles
Not sure if in anyway helpful or related but I am having my rear differential replaced at 30k under warranty due to whining noise.
