My second compressor is going out at 125,000 miles, luckily the first was at 48k still under warranty, but they're telling me $1800 at the dealer to replace! Does this sound right? -

I ordered a grille that was supposed to match the silver of the truck and they sent the wrong one. I'm trying to decide if this looks alright or send it back for the matching silver. I'm on the fence, I like the different look, but I cant' say I'm in love with it. -
Engine Fan
Has anyone had issues with their engine fan? Mine has sounded funny for some time, so I had it checked out at the dealer and they said its going out and should be replaced at some point soon for $900. My indy guy says the fan is $450 plus a couple hours labor so probably a couple bills cheaper... -
Replacing plugs
I'm at 105k and 8 years, the service manual calls for replacing the spark plugs really as the only big thing for this service. Have most on here done the same at that interval or at 8 years should I go ahead and do the 120k tune-up or just wait until then for the plugs as well? -
Tire Pressure Sensor
I'm replacing a wheel that was curbed and making it my new spare. Is it possible to re-use the sensor on the damaged rim for my new rim, or do I need to buy a new sensor for the new wheel? I'm content with not having a sensor on my spare. Also I assume a full sized spare fits underneath... -
What is the average lifespan of an LR3 alternator?
Mine was recent around 95k, seems pretty consistent. Around $600 installed I think I paid. -

Replaced with new letters, as mentioned I used hair dryer, floss, some goo gone and a small knife to scratch off remaining residue. -

No experience with the differential, but the compressor going out is quite common. Ironic it happened right after they did some work to the truck, but I was only charged around $800 to replace it. -

60k Service Costs/worth??
Just had my 60k service complete in Tulsa and my total bill was $348. I called and asked about the price a few weeks ago and they told me it was going to be $489, so I'm not sure why it was cheaper, but I'll take it. :beer: -
