just wanted to provide an update: ended up buying LX 570 vs. GX 460 I originally thought i would buy. Didn't like GX at all. LX 570 is more money than GX but significantly cheaper than v8 RR. I couldn't believe that proper RR HSE comes with V6 as well (what a joke IMHO). V8 RR sells for $105k... -

currently, I own '10 lr4 with 50k miles on the clock. Thinking of changing my rig as long term reliability of the truck is a concern to me. Was gonna buy '14 MY one until heard about engine change from v8 to v6. Will buy Lexus GX 460 instead as I can keep that truck pretty much forever and V8... -

ok, drove the car for aprx 350 miles over the last few days..... Issue is not completely resolved but situation is noticeably better..... Will stop by tire shop tomorrow to see if any other adjustments are possible..... -

so dealer replaced ball-joints and bushings... will see if this fixes the problem.... Glad to report that overall experience at the dealer, LR Encino in LA area, was rather pleasant..... -

94speedster, not sure if what u listed could be the cause as vibration goes away with time as it was pointed out by cypress...... Still awaiting response from the dealer but have forwarded him a link to this forum.... -

Gas mileage: report your real world numbers
I live in California and had car for 3 weeks.... Have around 1,500 miles on the car so far and averaged around 15mpg in mostly city driving.... -

Great roof rail design
I purchased the vehicle and as a part of the deal, dealer would install the rails. Will purchase Thule system tomorrow. Thanks again for the advise. -

Great roof rail design
I am looking to purchase new LR4 and dealer is quoting around $1,100 for the roof rack system. Seems a bit excessive. Was wondering if by employing above Thule system, I would not have to get OEM rails at all?
