Iphone 4 ipod play?
If you are using the USB cable connection it doesn't connect to the stereo. You need the OEM iPod cable to play music from you apple device through the stereo system.- AwlBidnz

Range Rover Running Boards
Houm WA..That's funny. This is my 3rd RR and 1st with running boards. Anytime I took my previous ones into the wilds of Oklahoma's prairie hills it seemed I always ended up in the shop..never behind a tow truck but, still in need of repair for some reason or another. Satellite Radio Category Browsing?
My "virtual buttons" memorize channels just like the old push buttons did. Just keep the touch on the button until it memorizes the station. -

I put the factory retractable boards on my 2011 HSE & they have been perfect. I am sure by now, you have discovered the cable you are wanting is only from Land Rover..The only real way to USE your iPhone is NOT by plugging it into this connection. It's only for music & the thing to plug into it is your iPod.- AwlBidnz

Navigation Voice
As I was told, we are stuck with the voice we have..We can change to a zillion different languages but the voice itself is fixed :0( -
Camera issue
I certainly understand the fish eye on the standard rear camera..It is a bit disappointing. I haven't had my truck for very long & will check out the distance accuracy soon. -
Pause in phone number
It doesn't appear that the 2011 RR HSE will accept a comma inserted after a phone number to pause until the number answers to then, dial an extension. ie., 405-555-1212,234 on my iPhone will dial the number, wait until it answers & then dial the 234 extension. Camera issue
I was thinking about getting the cameras on my 2011 RR HSE but did not. My sales guy talked me out of it. Maybe I'm glad he did? -
Satellite Radio Category Browsing?
On the LR4, I think the search for category stations are the arrows on either side of the clock..On the RRHSE the arrows are under the Mode knob. -

the only way to go to the next station in the category is with the left/right arrows under the right "mode" knob. these arrows also allow you to scroll up & down through all the sat channels when you have "all categories" selected. -
Oil Change Notification
My 2004 RR-HSE told me on the odometer how many miles before I needed service when I first started the engine & my service dudes would reset it when needed. My 2011 tells me on the message center.- AwlBidnz

The plug on the cable is specific to the Rover. The best way I have found is to connect my iPod to this cable to get the music, etc. in the vehicle & keep my cell phone connected through bluetooth which allows MUCH more flexibility & MANY more distractions while driving ;0o- AwlBidnz

2011 LR4 Voice Controls
I have been using my "Phone Dial Name" function on my 2011 RR & she seems to work fine, as long as you wait for the beep. The phone book downloaded from my iPhone is last name first, which makes it VERY time consuming to find a specific family member with the same last name ;0\ Would be nice if... -

I understand they have had MANY issues with pinched or crimped video cables coming from the factory on the new 2011 HSE's before the "change".
