Rattle going over manhole covers and potholes - Please help
Oh man I also have a high-pitched rattle coming from the third row. It sounds like it is on the driver's side pillar all the way in the back. Had my 1 year service and they said they replaced some clips and fixed it ....it is definitely not fixed and driving me insane -

They're switching back to the stick in the UK instead of the rotary select...so we probably won't see it. My guess is there will be flappy paddles though. -

I was thinking about getting my whole car clear bra'ed with 3M Venture shield. I was pretty adamant about the doors more than anything because there's some thick forest up in the northeast. I was quoted 3 grand...yikes. -

Looks like it was prepped by Devon 4x4, considering the internal winch mount and sump guard. Lamps look like Hella 4000i xenon compacts but don't have the red bezel... Surprising that they used aftermarket stuff and not OEM, really reassuring haha. I don't know what tires, sorry. Everything... -

Suggested Powertank mounting place??
Does anyone have a place they recommend for mounting a 5 lb. or 10 lb. Powertank in their LR4 (or LR3)?? Looking for a brilliant solution, would love pics. Thanks -

Rear Tail Light Guards
Not positive how you'd do it without drilling because you need to install two rivets... Just make sure that the screws on the inside of the lamp guard are out of the way of the tailgate. My top tailgate was rubbing against one screw and nicked the paint a little PM for the pdf directions -

Transmission Problem
the LR4 "guard" is weak...props to your dealer for the new car and brush guard. Surprised they put it on, perhaps a liability since airbags etc haven't been tested with it on the lr4, though similar to the lr3. Could be very wrong though - I'm no safety expert -

Driving lights question
Yeah the "protection" bar won't really help you. It's only function is to protect the driving lamps, I think (or for looks). They seem too exposed directly onto the bumper. You could wait for this: http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21109 -

You could wire aftermarket lights with an aftermarket harness, however if you have the OEM harness (and therefore the OEM button) it is pretty easy to wire hella lights into the OEM harness. No splicing, you'd just need to feed the wires from the hella lights into connectors that match what's on... -

Haha, not offended at all. Considering the honda cr-v comes with continental 4x4 contacts, if you're going beyond the car park, tires should probably be your first upgrade -

In deep sand or snow you probably would need to pressure down, and hopefully you won't have to worry about damaging your rims there. You can probably go down to 20 psi or so, but I would reinflate soon after. Obviously consider vehicle weight and what tire you're running -

Just picked my new LR4 this past weekend. My 4th LR and probably my favorite. I hope this gives you some idea of the rear lamp guard. Sorry it's not the best photo in the world.
