I am referring to the D1. Yes above the license plate there is a emblem take a key or flat screwdriver and pop it out, you can see the other end of the handle so just press it in all the way and your ready to open the rear door again.- Landlover25

Quickfix To Open A Back Gate Pop Off The Land Rover Emblem On The Back Gate With A Key And Take Your Fingers And Press That Silver Handle In All The Way If You Have Any Wd40 Near Spray It And It Will Push In Much Easier Anyway Pop That Decal Back On And Open The Gate Like Normal But Remember...- Landlover25

Dont Put Synthetic Oil In Disco 1 Don't Put Synthetic Oil In Disco 1 It Will Leak Because It Does Not Have The Proper Agents In It That Swell The Seals Like High Mileage Oil Does Instead It Will Shrink The Seals And Cause Heavy Leakage!! Hope This Helps- Landlover25

1998 Disco II Alarm Won't Disengage
Alarm wont disengage-----fix------ Your battery is bad....trust me Ive been through it before probably because the alternator is killing it.... Make sure after you buy a new battery to get that alternator checked especially if you have seen your battery light on here and there before this...- Landlover25
