GAP TOOL (LA or SF)?! 2015 LR4

Why exactly do you want to turn them off out of pure curiosity?? Those DRLs are what keep this car looking somewhat current(I'll never stop loving the boxy shape). In my new neighborhood full of Range Rovers, Defenders, G-wagens, porsches, teslas and now some rivians; I feel like I almost kinda...

How to find out which tpms?

This is correct. I have 433 on my MY15 and purchased an extra set for my Compos from tirerack.com for a very reasonable price.

    Latest recommendations for front bumpers?

This is the bumper I will be getting in a year or so and paint matching the same. The ARB Summit bar. As you can see it has locations for the cameras, remote sensors and headlight washer's. I don't love the look of the yellow LED fogs and may do something more black and white to stay on color...

Skidding to a stop on snow and ice

Yeah, KO2s are crap in my experience even though they are well reviewed for snow performance as an A/T tire. Their stopping and turning is highly unpredictable. I’m glad I got the Nokia’s Hakka R3 SUV on my OEM wheels. Night and day difference. I’m sure the WR G4 are way better than KO2s.

Skidding to a stop on snow and ice

Couldn't be happier with ditching my BFG KO2s this winter for Nokian Hakka R3 SUVs. Like said above, the KO2s were fine when accelerating because the LR4 is a damn mountain goat, it was when you wanted to stop or turn that it turned into a hippo on an ice skating rink. The KO2s were just too...

2015 LR4 HSE Windshield Wiper (Front + Back)

So, maybe I am the only one... But the LR4/Disco is the worst clearing windshield I have ever owned. On my 3rd pair of wipers. Last set came from dealer. The speed of travel and temperature seems to play a big role. Winter time driving is a joke. The jets only shoot fluid on the bottom 3...

Prospeed ladder installed - tailgate struts need help

I have the same issue but it is not terrible. Maybe in a couple years I will get new struts, but it stays up when I want it to.

All Weather or Snow Tires ?

After having(and loving) Blizzak WS80s on my Infiniti for 3-4 seasons, I definitely notice a little less of that mind-boggling grip. That is why I just got the Nokian Hakka R3 SUVs installed today on my OEM 20's. Their grippy crystals last through the tread life, not just the top layer like the...

    TMPS Recommendation ?

I have seen others have issues with compos and others, but with my experience with these specific sensors and my compos and KO2s, they have worked fine for almost 3 years. I don’t like giving a guarantee since my sample set is a limited 5 wheels/sensors, but I have put them through the ringer...

    TMPS Recommendation ?

What year did they actually introduce the PSI reading to the to the warning section? Didn't know it wasn't on the earlier models. It is fairly convenient and I do use it to check from time to time, but it's not the total coolest thing. Now remote start and AC seats... I'd kill to have that...

    TMPS Recommendation ?

$23 at tire rack for the 433mhz. I have had mine for almost 3 years and no problems. Programmed themselves upon driving. https://www.tirerack.com/tpms/detail.jsp?ID=2330&autoMake=Land+Rover&autoYear=2015&autoModel=LR4&autoModClar=HSE+LUX

    Compomotive PD 1881 finish delamination

I can see that. My LR has the black pack so not as much corresponding matching pieces. With the trim on yours there is a better theme with the steel lugs.

    285/60s on an LR4?

I had my wheel and tire guy do the install. I don't believe he used any straps or bands to mount them and just used adhesive. I can ask him next week when I see him. I have a 2015 and these worked after driving them over 5 mph, no programming needed...

    285/60s on an LR4?

I got the recommended TPMS from tirerack.com when I got KO2s for my Compos. They have worked well for the last 3 years and cost less than half than the stock ones. Glad I kept my oem ones mounted because I am getting Nokian Hakka R3s installed on my mint 20” OEM black wheels for many Rocky...

    Compomotive PD 1881 finish delamination

Now just get yourself some black lugnuts from Gorilla to complete the clean new look. The difference it made on my Fuji white was easily noticeable. Now every black wheel on any Rover with the chrome lugs stands out like a sore thumb to me. But, I’ve also been told I’m just a tad particular...

All Weather or Snow Tires ?

https://alltyretests.com/nokian-hakkapeliitta-r3-suv-test-review/ In case anyone is bored... Hakka R3 is the best dry braking and near top of rolling resistance which Nokian highlights specifically in their marketing. Also, best ranked winter tire over-all.

    LR4 19” tire options!

Driving back from Big Sky last year when all roads south but I-15 were closed, I drove through Monida Pass 10 minutes before they closed it. I have driven in blizzards and snow all my life, but that sh*t was crazy. Semi's blown over, zero visibility, ice and drifting snow on the road. I actually...

    LR4 19” tire options!

lol, I finally pulled the trigger on Nokian Hakka R3 SUV for my 20” OEM wheels. I have been running two sets of wheels/tires on my Infiniti for years. The KO2s on my compos were just not good enough in the snow for all the winter driving I do through Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado and...

How many miles on your LR4?

Geez, seeing these numbers I feel like keeping my 15 LR4 LUX with HD forever and buying a 3rd car instead of a Defender may be the way to go. I still love the look of this thing... Having in general hated and not owned American cars in over 10 years, I'm thinking about a Corvette C8 in a year...

New to me 2014; how to start?

FFS... That is ghetto as hell. They actually incurred what I imagine are significant costs to engineer that "C" shaped stupidity at the end of the block. I would have been cheaper to just clear use the same V-8 block and just not use a piston and seal or not bore out the bottom of the cylinder...
