D2 coil issue
yeah. the wires can be done w/o removing anything, but the packs themselves are bolted into a bracket which is under the edge of the manifold. the bolts that hold the packs onto the bracket face the firewall AND the towers make it tough to turn a wrench or ratchet. it can be done though. and in...- washburn1919

308 is a cylinder 8 misfire. i know you have a good opinion of your mechanic, so no offense to him or her but what evidence did they have that the head gasket needed to be replaced. i can't tell you how many times i've heard about these things getting head gaskets replaced as the first choice...- washburn1919

What to do with my new D2
the p1590 is the code associated with the 3 amigos (and the brake light). really REALLY common. maybe even universal. the brake light isn't always there with the 3 amigos, but it is frequently. the shuttle thing may or may not fix it. not too bad a job, but no guarantee that's what it is...- washburn1919
