Huy Tran / Is it mandatory to reset with IDII or iLand after tranny oil change? If so, there is a big chance non Land Rover specialty shop would not know it or not familiar with it. -

pfunk951 / It's very useful tip to know about the mechatronics unit. I'm going to ask my indy shop to do the oil change. I hope they can check the mechatronics unit too, while it's exposed. So, everyone recommend the conversion kit with a drain plug on for future convenience? -

I was able to pull out the fault codes in a mechanic shop. P0826 up & down shift switch input circuit P0783 3rd 4th shift malfunction. Online research suggests it probably wiring, harness, voltage issue, not transmission itself. It sounds like I might have dodged worst bullet. But I do not... -

Is it ok to start towing with 100,000 miles on the engine?
I posted similar issue a few days ago. My 10 LR4 with 100k miles surprised me with "Transmission Fault" warning while I tow 6700 lbs 32 ft travel trailer. I installed trailer brake and tow wiring harness and all that. I thought it was in tolerable range. Or maybe just my particular LR4 is not... -

Trailer Brake Module Options?
Hello, can any one show me pictures of where you guys installed the trailer brake module? I'm about to have Primus IQ installed soon. I have no idea where to. Don't I have to keep it horizontal position, and in same time it should be good location to reach for emergency brake?
