Is the 2010-2013 problem with timing chains an internet myth? The lawsuit doesn't cover the supposed "bad" years 2010 and 2011 and includes both pre- and post-tensioner fix years. The fix itself in 2013 implies there could have been a problem but the lawsuit contradicts that. I have a 2010 LR4... -

IID tool question
The auto-up feature sometimes disables for various reasons, not related to GAP Tool use (maybe sometimes it is- who knows what activates the gremlins?), but is easy to reset. Lower the window all the way manually. Then manually raise the window for about 2-3 secs and stop. Then manually raise... -

Help fitting rock-sliders.
I installed Terrafirma sliders on my 2010 LR4 this past summer. Here are two resources that helped me. A video from APT Offroad and a blog on installing Terrafirma sliders. I cut out the slider to fit the tubing emery papered it smooth and painted the edge with Rustoleum black paint. No issues... -

Lucky8 18’ off-road rims and tpms
I did get the full-size spare and had to deflate it almost completely (I never measured the psi) and used a floor jack to help wedge it in there. Others online mention not having as much trouble as I seemingly did (like not having to deflate so much or mention using a jack to help squeeze it in)... -

Question for LR4 owners that switched to 18" wheels
These are grey. I'm happy with them but as I just got the LR4 in June, bought the TuffAnts and KO2s two weeks later, I've not much to compare them to. They've been off-roading a few times and have accrued some dents and scrapes from rocks. I suppose that's normal and they seem to work fine... -

Question for LR4 owners that switched to 18" wheels
I have the TuffAnts with 265/65 KO2s and there is slight rubbing only in full lock right in reverse. No need to cut or trim anything. The picture is normal height. -

New 2013 LR4 owner with a couple questions.
Check what your warranty says about oil changes. My warranty says oil changes must be documented by a shop, diy do not count. Edit, congrats on the LR4. You'll love it, but as a previous Range Rover owner you already know that. I just got a 2010 LR4 in June.
