Just picked up a new 2017 Discovery Sport HSE Lux for my wife over the weekend. The tech really separates this car from our previous LR3 and RRS. I'm impressed so far. With this HSE trim level and optional 19" wheels it looks great too, inside an out.
I have one of these which was obtained from Xrover. No longer need it. Send a PM if interested.
It does have occasional read errors as others have indicated, which clear on their own.
Saw this "list" the other day. Automotive journalists who tested the new Discovery Sport were overwhelmingly positive. CR should stick to reviewing dishwashers and blenders.
My only complaint about the new DS is that it feels underpowered. The Evoque is far more nimble by comparison.
Hi All,
I'm a former member from 2006-2013, coming back into the brand. Recently picked up a 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged.
Not planning any major changes, just tending to a few small items.
Prior LR3 HSE7, owned from new in 2005 through 2012
And a Range Rover...
Hello all, it's been a while! I was an original 2005 LR3 HSE owner, put 90k miles before selling it back in 2012.
With this messy winter, I've been considering getting an LR3 again and have found a potential candidate. Question for everyone - have any new issues surfaced with age, or still...
Update: We've had the RRE for 10K miles now. This is my wife's daily driver, so my seat time is limited. Have not seen snow or offroad conditions yet.
Maintenance and Issues: Just had the first oil change done today. The only issue so far was a loose passenger door check, which was easily...
Sorry, been crazy busy with work, travel, etc. Will get some pics up soon. The recent road trip went well. No issues at all.
A few initial thoughts, now that it has over 1200 miles.
Fuel economy is far better than our old LR3, but still a little low at approx 23 mpg.
Each trip to...
Hey Todd,
It can happen, where a single wire gets severed and a section of the front windscreen defrost will not work. There were pics of this here on the forum a few years ago (may try to find them) which showed a 6" wide section where it did not function.
Yours may be fine - just need to...
After 7 years with a 2005 LR3 HSE7, it was recently traded for a 2012 Range Rover Evoque Prestige 5 door. The LR3 was very good to us for most of its 91k miles, but the time had come to move on.
Decided to downsize this time. This RRE is my wife's car. We cross shopped the BMW X3 and X5...
