THis 42" one had 80 three-watt LED's... it's amazing how far LED technology has come. The light is far nicer than the light from HID lighting - just pure white. THe light bar is about $1500 (retail). What's under the hood of what? THe Jeep? It has a crappy V6 froma minivan that gets worse... -

Has anyone changed the fog lights to HID fog lights
Actually, HID lights are 35 watts each as oppossed to the 55 watt lights that come from the factory.You use a lot LESS amperage (watts/volts = amps - two factory lights = 110 watts. 110/12 = about 9 amps. Two HID lights = 70 watts. 70/12 = about 5.8. About 40% less). HID's, however, do suck... -

Land Rover LR3 reliability - how does it truly compare?
Just bought a 2005 LR3 SE. THe week I had it, it was in the shop for an emergency brake failure. And trim pieces falling off. And the CD player not working. If you want absolute reliability, don't buy any British car. Buy an Asian one. -

Off-road light / brush guard adapters ready!
You have now installed the new light on your land rover's brush guard. Now, just attach your brush guard to the vehicle and install the lighting per the light manufacturer's instructions. I you are using the VIsion X HID lights, it's a snap. -

They are incredibly easy to install. As far as wiring, wach light has two wires. These wires need to be spliced into the old harness with butt connectors. As far as mounting, if you can turn a wrench and screwdriver, you can remove the old ones and put these on. It took me one hour, and that... -
