    sunroof rattling

Answer I would bet that the problem is that the glass itself is not fitting tightly in the metal frame around it. I had a similar problem on my old 2006 LR3 and went through 6-7 painful trips to the dealer to diagnose it. Several times, they could not hear it (LR dealers must only hire ex...

    Catalytic Converter Ticking & Pinging

The catalytic converter (at least I think that is where it's coming from) on my '08 LR3 SE ticks and pings when the engine gets up to normal operating temperature. It's quite loud and frequennt, and easy to hear even with the engine running. After the engine is shut off, it continues for 4-5...

    Another Sunroof Question

I may have had a similiar problem, and it took 4 trips to the dealer to get it corrected. You might have them check to see if the glass panel itself is loose inside the metal frame that lines the glass. That ultimately ended up being my problem, but as I said it took 4 maddening trips to the...

    06 LR3 Lists To Starboard

Yes. I'm sure it's level. I realize it can't be 100% dead perfect level, but it seems a bit much as you can notice it from the front if you are looking.

    06 LR3 Lists To Starboard

I've often thought it looked like my LR3 sits lower on the passenger side, but never took the time to actually measure it until today. Sure enough, it sits about 1/2" lower on the passenger side after it's been parked for a while. After it's started, it does level out a bit, but it's still...

    Looking for Advice

Yesterday, we drove around and tried to really isolate it. It would rattle even with the sunroof almost all the way open, and I'm almost 100% sure now that it's the sunroof and not the headliner. I must admit, it's a tough problem. Just like yours, when it rattles I can pretty much just press...

    Looking for Advice

I had tried the pop up air dam, deflector, but that's not it. The sunroof will still rattle, even if it's about 50% of the way open. The original sunroon did have cracks in the plastic tracks. I had noticed that too and hoped the new one would fix it, but no luck.

    Looking for Advice

Recently purchased a 2006 LR3 SE. It was a dealer service loaner, but I got a great deal on it with only 11K miles. I had done my homework and understood this vehicle was likely to be in the in shop a lot more often than average (one review said you will definitely get to know your service...
