My neighbor has offered my son a 1993 LR/RR for college. It needs brakes front and rear, rotors and pads. Dealer wants $1700. I have a massive amount of tools and have worked on cars for 40 years. Why so much $$$. Is there something I should know before doing this myself. It appears to be no different than most other brake jobs. Thank you for any advice.
