2016 LR4 Rear Seat Belt Receiver Spring Repair?

In the second row of our LR4, 2 of the 3 seat belt receivers lie flush with the seats when not in use. The remaining seat belt receiver pops straight up in the air. We learned today that if the third row is laid flat, the seat belt receiver piece interferes and could potentially break the part. Does anyone know what part is needed to ensure the seat belt receiver lies flat (or how to fix this)? It appears that there is a spring that enables this function but we cannot see how to repair because it looks intact. Photo is attached. Thanks for any tips/tricks.

It looks tight in there and you might need to take the seat out to take the buckle receiver apart or replace it.
