I have the orginal Navigation system and no disks for 1998 RR. Anyone know where I can get a disk for California and for cheap? I've gotten burned once on Ebay, recieving the wrong navteq disk. Please help would like to see how or if this thing works before I look for other options.

Thanks in advance

I am sure they are out there, but to be honest you would be better served getting a tom-tom or similar GPS. The older GPS's really suck.

Do you if there are any kits that allow for after-market replacements for the 98 rr?

With some work, anything can be done. You can always take it to an ICE specialist and see what they can do. I have seen some real wild stuff done to Jaguars, so I am sure it can be done to a Rover.
