I have a 2012 HSE imported from Japan and it is clear some CCF work has been done, eg changing FM frequencies. USB, MP3, iPod, BT all work fine on the speakers, but for the IR headsets and rear screens, the only options are radio or CD/DVD. The rear USB socket and the analogue video in/AUX sockets do nothing, and I therefore wonder if something has been lost in translation, as it were.
I don't have the remote, so there is the possibility that having one would allow my kids to listen to iPods and MP3s, but I believe that all capabilities should be available from the front screen. I have attached photos.
Can anyone confirm that this age of vehicle should be able to select and play USB and AUX to the rear... and without a remote? I guess if/(when) I get a GAP tool I might find I can re-enable if this is so.
