Springtime in the Desert

Spring is quickly approaching and I have found no better time to head out to the deserts surrounding Southern CA. I have somewhat explored the Anza Borrego and tooled around a little in Joshua Tree. Does anyone have any favorite destinations they would care to share, and secondly is anyone interested in heading out some weekend in the fairly near future?

I been tempted to take my RR-HSE out there for a spin, especially now that I recently made some changes to my air-suspension system. I'm open to head out for a weekend some time during Spring if not early Summer. If anything, send me a message once you get a semi-large or good size group for one of these upcoming events.
