Hello, I was wondering if anybody could help me resolve this issue. 2002 Freelander was at the shop and had its battery disconnected for a couple of days. when we picked it up the tailgate window was open and whenever We try to close it, it beeps twice and reopens immediately. I attempted to disconnect and reconnect the battery to see if it would "reset", to no avail. It does the same thing if I try to close it using the key in the tailgate lock. I would appreciate any help on this issue. Thanks.
