upgrading for 19 alloys to 22

I own a RR vogue 2005 which is fitted with 19 inch alloys 255/55 R 19 tires , I want to upgrade to 22 inch alloys/tires because I don't like the looks of the originals. I was advised by local RR expert not to do so as this will compromise the comfort/road handling, could you share your experience and advise

I put 22 chrome wheels on my 96RR 4 years ago and have had no problems with them. I put the stock tires and wheels on in the winter and can not notice any difference in comfort or handling.
