I started checking on why the cruise control does not work on my 99 Disco II. I noticed I have several vacuum lines that are not connected. I am not sure what connects to what. Any ideas? (Hopefully the pictures are attached, this is my first post)

I would start by downloading the Rave repair manual and check the vacuum routing... (the route should also be on a sticker under the hood)

For the cruise control Its quite simple. The rave MIGHT help. This is for a DI

Hose goes from actuator [black plunger connected to throttle body.]

T's off one end into the cabin near the brake pedal

Other end to the front near the air box to the vacuum pump

AM I missing anything?

There also should be a vacuum diagram under the hood.

On D1s the other vacum hoses go from brake booster to plenum and from plenum to the eva

Thanks Spencer. That will help a lot. There is no vacuum diagram in the RAVE and the one under the hood is less than specific. With what you just told me I think I can figure it out now.

to clear something up the line that goes from evap to plenum really goes from evap to throttle body. On a d1

Yeh, but he is showing pictures from a D2!
A couple of those pictures from the fire wall are vents from the tranny, picture from passengers side firewall, and front diff, picture from driver side firewall. The coolant bottle picture is of a vent tube and is normal.
If your cruise control light is on then you probably have a vacuum leak at the diaphram which is bolted to the passenger fender behind the coolant bottle, check those hoses as well as the one at the cruise control brake switch on the brake pedal arm. If they are all good then your cruise control ECU may be bad.
