Whining diff and ABS light problem

I have recently bought a 2001 Discovery 2. It is a great carbut I am experiencing a few problems.

The first problem is that the ABS, TC and downhill lights keep coming on and the other problem is that the diff is making a whining noise (well, I think it is coming from the diff).

Can anyone help?

ABS TC lights

Most of the time when the ABS TC lights come on at the same time the problem is a wheel speed sensor and that can only be checked/diagnosed with a scanner that can scan the Land Rover ABS system. If you know a shop that has a Snap On Modis then the sensors can be checked at the wheels.
