wierd problem

K, I have a wierd one. Ill drive my 97 disco all day with out a single problem...turn it on and off drive, all good, then out of the blue, I'll start her up and the revs drop to like 100rpm and it won't go anywhere. I have to rev it up for a few seconds to get it to seven hundred rpm and then its fine again. It only happens once in a blue moon. I have put new wires (magnecor) and new plugs in it last week.

TPS sounds like it is going bad.... (throttle Position Sensor)...

Easy fix, just clean it or replace it. Do a search for TPS and you will find pics of its location.
